How to use Pastels in Christmas Cards

Springs favorite colors are pinks and purples, Easter egg blues and greens. You may, like me, have lots of pretty papers and ribbons sitting around, gathering dust until winter is over. Use these two quick color combinations to turn them into holiday-themed cards!
1. Combine blues and purples. Adding white or silver to these colors helps bring in the "winter" feel. Add hand cut or die cut scallops or borders. Go for whimsy with these colors. Use punches or die cut circles and place a pretty brad or eyelet in the center of each, giving them a random "snowflake" pattern.

2. Turn Spring-y pinks and green into Christmas. Do the unexpected by starting with a green card and creating pink and white shapes or accents. Hand cut or write your messages. Use 3D adhesive dots or tape to make your accents pop. Add gems or glitter to pink trees!
Use velvet flocking to make your trees fuzzy!
