Family Christmas Journal

Supplies:
Children's holiday storybook
ribbon 24"
paper for journaling, your choice
Tools:
Hole punch or crop-a-dile
X-acto knife or craft knife
 Hot Glue
1. Remove the pages of the book by cutting through the inside binding. Do not cut through the actual book cover!

2. Trim your paper to the same size as the book's pages. Note: you can use solid white paper, scrapbook papers, recycled boook pages, whatever you like!
3. You have two choices when it comes to binding your journal. If you like, you can punch holes through the pages and through the spine of the cover, and thread with a ribbon, tying to bind.
4. Or, your second option is to re-glue the spine. To do this, place a line of hot glue inside the spine. While it's hot, place the long edge of your pages down into the glue.
5. Fold the book up and tap the spine down to "settle" the glue and pages. Re-open the book and seal with glue any remaining parts of the spine that are still showing.
6. Embellish and decorate! You could turn this into a christmas scrapbook or fill with handwritten holiday memories. I inked and doodled across my pages!
